Rev. Fr. Michael Jeeva Antony is hailing from the Southern part of India. After completing his high school, he felt the call of God to Priesthood and entered the seminary to discern his vocation to Priesthood. After spending ten years of formation, he was ordained a priest on the 22nd of May, 1999, at his home parish. He served as a member of his order, namely 'The Missionaries of St. Francis Xavier, Pilar-Goa, India'. He served as Pastor in the diocese of Port Blair in the Islands of Andaman & Nicobar, India, for five years. He then served as a Formation Director in charge for the young seminarians for seven years, and also assisted in the care of the orphans in Goa – India, for two years. Fr. Michael served the Archdiocese for a year as Parochial Vicar at St. Peter and St. Mark parishes. After a year’s stay in India to get permission to be part of the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon, he came back to the United States and served at Sacred Heart Church in Medford, Oregon, for the last six months. Now the Archdiocese assigns him once again to Eugene to serve both St. Peter and St. Mark. We welcome back Fr. Michael and wish him all the best in his ministry
